Read the Financial Information DisclaimerAI consensus research, rankings, and limitations
Our studies generally submit defined consumer scenarios across multiple AI platforms and record the companies or products recommended. Ranking and analysis may consider:
- Cross-platform recommendation frequency
- Recommendation position
- Situation-specific fit
- Material product limitations
Consensus describes observed recommendation patterns. It does not prove that a recommendation is objectively correct or appropriate for every consumer. AI-generated information may be incorrect, outdated, incomplete, inconsistent, misleading, or affected by overlapping sources.
Rankings are not guarantees
Providers control their products, underwriting, pricing, eligibility standards, and approval decisions. We do not guarantee:
- Approval or product availability
- Credit-score improvement or removal of negative information
- A particular APR, credit limit, or loan amount
- Debt reduction or successful settlement
- Financial savings or suitability for your circumstances
Point-in-time research
AI platforms, financial companies, products, pricing, and recommendation behavior may change after a study is published. Historical rankings should be interpreted in the context of their research date. Verify material information directly with the provider, including:
- APRs, fees, and loan amounts
- Eligibility requirements and security deposits
- Credit limits and product or state availability
- Subscription pricing and bureau reporting
- Cancellation and graduation policies

Third-party products, services, and links
Credit Consensus Index does not itself provide most financial products discussed on this website. We do not control a provider's approval or denial decisions, rates, limits, program acceptance, product availability, account changes, security, or privacy practices.
A provider's terms, privacy policies, agreements, eligibility rules, pricing, and underwriting policies govern your relationship with that provider. External links may lead to financial providers, government agencies, regulators, research sources, publishers, affiliate partners, advertisers, or other resources. A link does not guarantee or endorse a third party's content, services, security, or privacy practices.
Affiliate, advertising, and other commercial relationships
Credit Consensus Index may receive compensation through affiliate relationships, advertising, sponsorship, paid placements, sponsored content, lead generation, research services, data licensing, or other arrangements.
A company may rank highly without paying us, rank poorly while paying us, appear without an affiliate relationship, or fail to appear despite having one. Commercial relationships do not permit a company to:
- Alter recommendation counts or historical AI responses
- Purchase a higher ranking
- Remove competitors
- Suppress accurate unfavorable information
- Control independent editorial conclusions
